Hello my name is Sadie. I am a 7 year old therapeutic yellow Labrador often here greeting Saje’s guests when they arrive. I am friendly and very quiet and gentle. I greet from a distance but will gladly come closer if you wish. I know yoga and perform Downward Dog with grace and style, especially when rewarded with a cracker. Welcome.

Louise is the Artistic Director, Colorist  and Founder of Saje Salon and Spa. With over 25 years of international experience, she has been a platform artist and taught along side with names such as Federik Fekkai of LA, Maurice Fiorio, and Ray Civello of Toronto and Alexandre de Paris.

With 14 years working for leading salon product manufactures like L’Oreal Canada and Artec New York as a Technical Educator,  National Business Development Director, Special Events and Show Director, Louise shares her knowledge with her young staff and colleagues to empower and lead by example.

Louise has judged the InStyle Magazine’s (Salon Magazine) Hairstylist of the Year Awards and her work has appeared on Breakfast TV Edmonton and CBC news Montreal. She continues to travel internationally to places like Paris, Rome, and Greece as well as L.A., New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Montreal to International Salon Business Seminars sharing knowledge with hairstylists worldwide.

Where Louise really shines is in her day to day contact with her clients. With warmth, confidence, and diplomacy, she designs to suit face and skin tones working with unruly textures with her signature “Texture Cutting” she once taught across North America.  Her 11 years as a Master Colorist and educator with L'Oreal Professionnel provides a backround for excellent quality color in Saje's L'Oreal Color Bar .

She especially loves to help someone through difficulty and is focusing additional services in providing custom wig fitting, shaping and hair alternatives for women and men  in a private room located in a quiet part of the salon and spa. Louise is also a Certified Great Lengths hair extention artist since 2005 and Certified with Dermapod/ Microdermabrasion and Biosculpture Gel Nails, Thalasso Therapy, Reiki and Relaxation Anti-Stress Massage for the Spa.

Now proud to provide for Saje's clients, the redesigned and expanded Salon.Spa, Louise welcomes new and existing clients to discover Saje.

Jenn energetically joined Saje February 2009 after moving back home to Carleton Place from the Toronto area.  When you first enter Saje, you'll be greeted by her warm smile and welcoming sincerity.

Her backround in client services, marketing,and advertising, make her a strong leader and friendly coordinator.

Jenn is here to be of service to our guests from offering a complimentary refreshment to guiding you through your experience at Saje until your unwilling departure.

Her life experience shines much light on sensitive areas such as our new hair replacement  services of wigs for hair loss. Jenn's addtional training in hair solutions through New Image/ First Lady in Toronto is of much benefit in providing wig maintenance for our clients.

Jenn has come home and is present  to welcome you, our guest, to feel at home here, at Saje. 

Sarah M joined Saje in 2001 as a stylist. She quickly proved her talented cutting skills and established a loyal clientele within 6 months of starting! Her craftsmanship and attention to detail is always her signature as well as her friendly steadfast personalilty.

As a Senior Stylist at Saje Salon.Spa, Sarah demonstrates her art & skill both in texturecutting and as a L'Oreal Professional Colorist.

She has travelled to places like Paris, Cannes, Toronto & Montreal to continue perfecting her trade with business seminars and technical workshops.

Sarah's dedication to her craft motivates her to continually adding services for her clients through continued education. She offers consultation on hair loss and wigs/ hair solutions  as well as being a Certified Great Lengths hair extention artist & Certified Biosulpture Nail artist.

Kasey joined Saje in 2007 from working in the Kanata area. She is a talented certified stylist who enjoys both cutting and coloring and is very knowledgeable with curly textured hair. She applies Saje’s signature texture cutting (wet/dry cutting) with efficiency and precision

She continues to attend seminars always seeking more knowledge in Toronto and Ottawa. The latest have been certification with Microdermabrasion and Dermapod, Aveda product knowledge, Keratin Complex Smoothing systems by Copolla, and Physiodermie skin care.

Kasey is also a certified esthetician and provides services for both salon and spa areas at Saje.

Kasey loves modern and classic styles, and she herself is elegant and down to earth. She always strives to surpass her client’s expectations and takes the time to teach her clients tricks of the trade to make their styles last at home. 

Ashley started her styling career at the age of 18 working in Bellscorner's Aveda salon as an apprentice.  She continued to perfect her art by doing her training at Algonquin College and working another 3 years in the Kanata  area.

Joining Saje Salon.Spa last year of 2009, Ashley moved closer to home in the Carleton Place area with her family.

Ashley's inviting smile and grounded personality draws you in and makes her clients comfortable from the moment they meet her.

She uses her divesified skills such as razor cutting, extended AVEDA cutting techniques and wide range of color brands backround to complete a total look for her clients. Ashley is also certified with Keratin Complex Smoothing systems for unruly hair.

Ashley is now taking new clients at Saje for both color and cutting and looking forward to greeting you.

Tylee joined Saje in 2008 to add wellness in the massage areas. She is an Ontario Registered Massage Therapist specializing in focused interest of Sports massage (pre, post and inter-competition), Pre-Natal, cancer/breast, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and over-use injuries. She has worked with numerous regular clients in these listed areas of focus and has helped bring remarkable improvements.

Tylee’s energetic enthusiasm will make you feel at ease knowing that you are in very qualified competent hands. She invites her existing clients to also join her at Saje Salon.Spa to enjoy an indoor or garden setting massage.

As a graduate from Algonquin College's Esthetic program, Jaclyn joined Saje Salon.Spa in the summer of 2009 through the coop program and loved it so much, she never left!  She has a passion for her art and loves people.

Jaclyn's previous training as a makeup artist and Facial specialist creates that special rendezvous for her clients and gives them a radiant glow.  Her continued certification training with Biosculpture gels, Dermapod/Microdermabrasion and photo light therapy, as well as AVEDA's specialized holistic ayurvedic  facials, skin care,  pedicures treatments  has created a blend of spa services enveloping her clients.

Jaclyn loves to get involved in community support and in her philosophy, "too much is never enough" for her eagerness and dedication.

Sarah joins Saje in spring of 2010 to complement all aspects of Saje's Spa team. With her 3 years of spa, skin care experience and her Certification diploma of Esthetics from Loyalist College in Belleville, Sarah follows her true passion to perform spa services at Saje.

Sarah understands that education is key to knowing the best skin care to use for specific skin types, and with this in mind, she has continued to search out  knowledge through a wide range of skin care companies from traveling to New York for Dermalogica, to completing training with Yonka, and Dr.Renaud. She enjoys listening to her client's needs and to assist them in acheiving optimal results in their overall wellness of being. Her training in CPR and First Aid provides a comforting understanding of wellness.

Sarah enjoys working with brides to make their special day harmonious, from having worked previously at Sinders bridal store to knowing the best makeup finish to reflect a radiant bride.  She also loves Sugaring as an alternative hair removal method to gently provide results for the more sensitive skins.

Sarah particularly is passionate about the results obtained for her clients, and views beauty as a reflection of overall health and attitude. "Smiling can change your day and truely uplift you ".  Knowing how to relax, Sarah loves to read in a hammock  at home, by Mississippi Lake with her family.  She loves the calming, friendly aspects of being in a small community like Appleton and is ready to greet her new clients here at Saje with her engaging smile and welcoming personality.

Tracey is a registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist with the Reflexology Association of Canada.  She has also studied "Touch Point" style for reflexology in Alberta with the Health Touch Institute.  She is certified in both hand & foot reflexology.

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears which correspond to every part, gland, and organ of the body.   Through the application of pressure on these reflexes, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and promotes the natural functoning of the related area of the body.

Tracey invites you to experience her passion for this holistic practice as it encompasses her belief in the whole body wellness.
